Working with a VA

A Virtual Assistant is essential for home-based entrepreneurs.

You don’t need to make make space for me in your home. We’ll use email, the phone, and online file sharing services to communicate. You’ll be surprised how easy it is. You’ll soon forget that I’m hundreds, or even thousands, of miles away.

It is easy to work together, but there are some things you should know.
I do amazing work when I know the schedule in advance. But if you thrive on last-minute projects and changes, then a VA might not make the best working relationship for you. I work from home for the flexibility, so I’m not always at my desk, available at a moment’s notice.

Communication and file sharing.
Phone, email, even Google Apps are the most communication we’ll likely ever need. Once your website is up and running, file sharing becomes even easier. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to keep each other up-to-date.

How do we track hours.
I personally use punch-clock software. That way, you know you’re only being billed for the time I work with you.

What is the cost?
Part of the value of having a VA is having the benefit of experience and skill, without having to offer a full time salary. Have you ever heard of someone with a great, marketable resume who was willing to work for only 10 hours a month? Well, now you have.  I don’t need to work with you full-time, because I have other clients. As for my rates, it depends on the service. Contact me with your needs and I’ll let give you an estimate.
